Job Description

Participate in the fundamental research in chemistry with regard to nanomaterials preparation and their application in photodegradation.

Ball State University, Chemistry Department, welcomes applications for Temporary Physical Chemistry Undergraduate Research Assistant.

Job Function:

Participate in the fundamental research in chemistry with regard to nanomaterials preparation and their application in photodegradation.

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma.

Minimum Experience:

Background in chemistry or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in chemistry research; courses in physics

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct STM imaging, solution & sample preparation.
  • Perform electrochemical cyclic voltammetry experiments.
  • Assist with data analysis using Origin.
  • Provide an accurate record of experiments and data.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
