Summary
The section of Gastroenterology & Hepatology in the Department of Medicine is searching for Reseach Coordinator to be a part of Dr. Prasun Jalal's research operations. Research Coordinator will participate in coordinating day-to-day activities of research studies. The duties will include the following: screening and enrollment of research participants; data collection, documentation, and organization. The position is expected to provide research experience to prepare the candidate for the future studies. The position will be located in the Medical Center and is a full-time, on-site position.
Job Duties
- Assists in the coordination and conduct of clinical research studies.
- Supports patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment under the guidance of the research team.
- Collects and documents patient information, including medical histories, vital signs, and other clinical data.
- Assists with study visits and patient interactions, ensuring a high level of professionalism and patient care.
- Records and maintains accurately study data in electronic systems and study documents.
- Maintains organized and detailed research records, including source documentation and study files.
- Conducts literature searches and summarizes findings to support research activities.
- Communicates effectively with investigators, clinical staff, and study participants.
- Supports general study operations, including scheduling, coordination, and maintaining study materials. Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Performs other job-duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Organized, self-motivated, teamwork, works well under pressure, multitasking.
Work Authorization Requirement:
