Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Lead Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for sterilizing, processing, and maintaining supplies, instruments, and equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. This opportunity is for 8-hour shifts and is designated for the night shift, with a 11:00pm start time.In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for evening shift differential up to $3.00/hr.

Up to $5,000 Sign-on Bonus Available!

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Ensure the availability of sterilized instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgeries
  • Enter surgery preference cards into computer database
  • Maintain adequate supply levels, inventory control, and proper labeling
  • Assess supply utilization and recommend stock level changes
  • Report faulty equipment and deficiencies in procedures
  • Monitor sterilization of surgical supplies and equipment
  • Maintain continuous workflow in the sterile processing area
  • Monitor surgery schedule to ensure availability of special supplies and instruments

Your qualifications should include:

  • Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician and a minimum of 3 years sterile processing experience in an acute care setting
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership position (preferred)
  • Experience in central supply operations
  • BLS (through the American Heart Association), required.
  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $24.47 - $36.70 / hour
