YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE

- 80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO's
- Appointments will be considered at the level of new group leader (Level C) through to experienced Professor (Level E)

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) is recruiting a Group Leader to increase the capacity and efficiency of our “discovery to translation” cancer research pipeline. Our focus is to recruit the very best cancer researcher to lead their own independent research group with a broad strategic fit within our program themes: Cancer Evolution and Metastasis, Cancer Biology and Therapeutics, Organogenesis and Cancer, Cancer Immunology, and Computational Biology.

The Group Leader will develop and lead a team conducting internationally significant and innovative research to enhance our understanding of cancer development from fundamental biological principles of cancer to progression, evolution and translation into clinical practice. This position is responsible for:

- Developing and managing a research program.
- Providing effective leadership and supervision to direct reports.
- Contributing to research leadership.
- Participating broadly in Cancer Research Division programs

This position is:

- Ongoing, Full-Time
- Onsite presence essential at 305 Grattan Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000
- Basic Salary Range: $146,050.32 to $226,517.20 AUD p.a.
