The School of Engineering and Computer Science at Elizabethtown College is seeking dynamic, student-focused, part-time educators with K12 or industry experience to teach individual courses and laboratories as needed for the FALL 2025 semester & beyond:

Introductory Physics Labs (Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism)
Surveying Labs
Upper-level undergraduate coursework in:
Industrial & Systems Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Environmental Engineering
Biomedical Engineering
Computer Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Mechatronics Engineering
Graduate-level online coursework in
Logistics and Supply Chain
Engineering Management
Project Management


Job Duties
Adjunct faculty will have the following job responsibilities:
Teach courses using in-person, active learning pedagogy;
Create a learning environment that fosters a sense of belonging, dignity and, respect;
Complete beginning-of-term preparation and communication;
Engage with software including Canvas LMS;
Facilitate class instruction to achieve course, program, and student learning objectives;
Provide both instructive and supportive feedback;
Adhere to protocol guidelines and submit grades for course completion;
Complete end-of-term preparation, communication, and course evaluation(s);
Model professionalism and appropriate academic conduct.

Required Qualifications
The qualified candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field. Master’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; FE or PE engineering licensure

Relevant professional experience is required, either in industry or the K12 environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate teaching excellence, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to collaborative processes.
