Job Description
The Department of Physics at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA, USA has an opening for a postdoctoral research investigator for research on a novel nanoparticle-based cancer therapy guided by PET imaging.Candidates from broad backgrounds are invited to apply, with Ph.D. or equivalent in condensed matter / materials physics, biology, chemistry, medical physics, imaging science, engineering, or related fields given preference. Highly developed communication skills - including, but not limited to written and oral delivery of scientific information and the ability to work well within a team structure - and considerable experimental experience are both prerequisites. Experience with nanomaterial preparation and characterization, ultrasound, and imaging biophysics are considered favorable, but not required, experience. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to independently guide a research project.
Funding is available for up to 3 years.
