The successful candidate:
***Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM M-F***
The Sr. Environmental Services Technician is a member of the CTCA Environmental Services team and is responsible for performing established standard cleaning procedures to provide non-medical sanitation support in assigned unit of the hospital. This position performs a variety of complex floor care duties including, but not limited to, operating specialized floor care equipment, commercial vacuum use, stripping/refinishing carpets and hard floor surfaces, and other general cleaning duties in order to provide a safe, attractive, environment for patients, visitors, and employees within the hospital.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
3 years relevant experience preferred
Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred
Floor Care experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Must be able to communicate effectively, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
Strong customer services skills
Ability to work well on a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $17.51 - $24.87 / hour
