A Clinical Research Associate I role is available in the Department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation. As a CRA I you will be responsible for managing an assigned set of clinical research studies and protocols to assure efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will also be responsible for the collection, registration, and submission of data as well as maintaining a system for effective sample collection, movement, and storage, as well as data flow associated with research protocols.
As a successful candidate, you will:
· Conduct protocol management to include maintaining current and accurate protocols
· Complete and maintain regulatory documents
· Recruit patients for studies. Establish and maintain relationships with patients, patient’s other provider(s) and their staff as well as exploring ways to improve patient recruitment to studies
· Collect patient data to enter into databases
· Collect and deliver surgical specimens for analysis
· Work on data management projects
Your qualifications should include:
· Associates degree. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements. Bachelors preferred.
· One year of experience working in a health care setting, preferably in research
· Experience with medical record review, health information systems, and/or clinical trails is preferred
· Experience with Epic, Medidata Rave and/or RedCap preferred

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $41.55 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
