The successful candidate:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial support to regional Finance, Operations, and Senior Management. The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Director and serves as a business partner to the regional CFO, CEO, COO, and operations department leaders.

The Analyst must be able to prioritize and efficiently complete multiple tasks in a timely manner. The Analyst must be team oriented and able to collaborate and effectively communicate across multiple teams.

Key tasks include, but are not limited to, supporting the regional forecast, annual budget, month end financial analysis, capital expenditure justifications, monitoring reimbursement with payors, supporting month end tasks in conjunction with corporate accounting and collaborating with revenue cycle in conjunction with centralized coding/billing and the patient accounts function, supporting local compliance and regulatory affairs and assisting with ad-hoc reporting and projects, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other Business Field

  • 1-3 years' healthcare finance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $28.58 - $47.04 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
