The successful candidate:

***Hours: M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM***

The Lead, Environmental Services Technician works as a guiding member of the COH Environmental Services team and is responsible for performing established standard cleaning procedures to provide non-medical sanitation support in assigned unit of the hospital. The Lead must maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Environmental Services function and works closely with Environmental Services leadership to oversee the daily workflow for assigned unit(s) to ensure a safe and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and employees within the hospital. Duties include keeping informed of immediate conditions of assigned unit(s), ensuring unit schedules are completed efficiently and accurately, confirming established cleaning standards are met and making necessary corrections, assisting with weekly inventory control, performing cleaning tasks, and other duties special projects as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience preferred

  • Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.

  • Strong customer services skills

  • Ability to work well on a team

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $17.71 - $27.35 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
