ROLE SUMMARY
The CFC (Customer Facing Colleagues) Business Product Owner is a new role within the CRM Business Product team, directly reporting to the CRM CFC Business Product Lead within the Customer Engagement Technology & Innovation organization in the Chief Marketing Office (CMO).
This is a high-visibility role, owning the end-to-end success of our CRM CFC engagement platform supporting HCP/HCO-facing colleagues globally, across all brands, representing the needs for Commercial Sales, KAM, Access and Medical user groups. Over the next 5 years Pfizer will be re-platforming our CRM technology and this role will be to also support this program.
The role is expected to leverage the product model to identify technology enhancement opportunities that enable Pfizer’s business objectives and improve the CFC experience. They will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to prioritize opportunities and contribute to the strategic CFC product roadmap. They will partner closely with our digital technology teams and vendors to concept, plan, build and deploy solutions responsible for the end-to-end success.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to a CFC CRM roadmap illustrating planned technology enhancements to create business impact well aligned to market business objectives.
- Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand CFC needs and translate them into technology enhancement opportunities.
- Lead a process to quantify business impact of enhancement opportunities and drive enhancement prioritization.
- Partner closely with UX/Design, delivery and operations teams to drive concepting, planning, build and deployment of new features.
- Write product requirement documents (PRD) and user stories and participate in agile ceremonies to prioritize the backlog and deliver work.
- Devise an approach to measure and report out business impact of technology enhancements.
- Plan and support the functional/business side of the CFC tooling universe by providing clear requirements for business needs throughout, participating in UAT, training and communications as required.
- Manage relationships with vendors to ensure their technologies evolve with Pfizer’s needs. Maintain strong knowledge of Life Sciences CFC CRM-related offerings, drive build/buy decisions and partner closely with digital to evaluate technology.
- Operate with a mindset of standardization, consolidation and global scalability across the CFC technology tooling universe.
- Support privacy, digital, legal, regulatory and compliance teams in setting and deploying data standards, policies and procedures.
- Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA Required; MBA or equivalent Master’s-level education preferred
- 5+ years in Product management, product owner, product analyst, product delivery or other related product roles.
- 5+ years of experience in the Life Sciences industry in areas closely related to SFA/CRM tooling, ideally working for/ closely with a top 10 pharma company.
- Experienced with agile ways of working and experienced in all stages of the product development lifecycle from idea to delivery.
- Navigating consumer privacy and / or healthcare data landscape at scale.
- Leading / Contributing to CRM technology for an innovative multi brand global Fortune 500, Health, Pharma or regulated B2B and / or consumer org.
- Integrating sales and marketing technology and customer journeys across channels.
- Deep understanding and passion for CRM platforms, technologies (especially in areas across Customer facing colleagues).
- Experience in working with engineering teams in designing scalable architecture that meets the needs of marketing and sales co-workers.
- Experience evaluating product decisions strategically and making prioritization tradeoffs, leveraging large datasets to make data driven product decisions while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrixed environment.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to execute with speed and high quality.
- Demonstrated business acumen strong analytical skills and mindset.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Broad Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment; experience in Direct to consumer.
- Prior experience as platforms and technology product manager / business leads in pharma or a high growth start up.
