Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The GTM Transformation Lead will be responsible for leading the pilot and implementation of go-to-market model transformation in China, developing companywide business innovation strategies and solutions, connecting with global strategy and partnering with BU by providing consultation, leading the team to build enterprise level GTM solution, data and content middle platform to integrate resources and operate synergy solutions, measuring the outcome to ensure effectiveness of driving business. The lead should proactively engage cross-function stakeholders, clearly communicate streamlined, actionable insights to support new go-to-market model implementation, identify business pain points and build alignment on cross-functional support that best fit for business needs. The role will support China President to explore cross portfolio business models, explore and implement solutions to develop alternative channels which can lead Pharma industrial initiatives and integrate internal business best practices.
By bringing strong coordination facilitation, influencing skills and effective project management practices, the lead will help to ensure the success of a broad variety of projects and programs. The lead needs to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail along with excellent written, verbal and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation, mental agility, influencing, and relationship building skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate companywide business innovation vision, strategies and solutions to enable GTM transformation;
- Lead and supervise on innovative pilots and workstream implementation, leverage global resources and digital capabilities to advance the progress, drive cross-functional alignment & collaboration at local and HQ level;
- Lead country level innovative cross-portfolio and cross-functional innovative initiatives and projects, incl. project design, cross functional coordination and alignment, budget management, KPI monitoring, and the implementation, to evaluate and maximize the value of innovative models;
- Lead the team to build up digital ecosystem that best fit for China business, integrate data and content resources from various channels, and provide more specific and targeted guidance and suggestions for customer interaction to enhance user experience;
- Build next generation GTM solutions, data and content middle platform to facilitate business growth. Maximize business impact & quality HCP engagements w/ digital marketing & CF solution’s implementation. Gather and integrate various channel data to create real time data analytical capabilities. Develop holistic content pools to meet stakeholder’s needs on tailored and timely content delivery
- Provide analysis, insights and recommendations to guide high level decisions affecting product development, innovative business model and current business digital practice;
- Works with internal customers to assure that strategic research are being communicated and effectively used to meet corporate goals and objectives;
- Ensure all corporate standards of excellence and compliance are upheld while performing all company business and demonstrate high ethical and professional standards, at all times, to maintain the excellent reputation of Pfizer within the marketplace.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 15 years of overall experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry desirable
- At least 8 years of digital innovation experience and people manager experience
- Commercial experience (sales, marketing, commercial operations, etc.) in China markets preferred
- Demonstrated strength in managing multiple projects and/or programs and business analysis
- Extensive experience with aligning stakeholders, facilitating conflict, and communicating information in a way that enables leaders to have transparency on the underlying issues and potential solutions in varying settings including workshops, small group sessions or one-on-one meetings
- Able to interact, partner and provide thought leadership for key stakeholders with comfort and ease
- Strong ability to anticipate roadblocks well before they occur and take action to ensure they don’t arise
- Experience managing projects within matrix organizations
- Demonstrated peer influencing and team leadership skills
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing both market research and competitive intelligence projects for corporate entities, brands and for cross functional projects
- A minimum of 2 years of operational consulting experience, either internally or at a large external consulting firm
- Prior position at an external consulting firm equivalent to a principal level desirable
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to manage large teams across multiple business units and have working knowledge of multi business functions
- Excellent oral and written communications capabilities and presentation and facilitation skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience with business process creation or re-engineering and change management
- Strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities, and communication skills
- Experience with operations consulting methodologies and frameworks, visual storyboarding methodologies, expertise in creating and implementing governance models, org design preferred
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
- Fluent with technology solutions to manage projects including appropriate Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
