Job Description
BRAND LEAD RARE DISEASE & HEMATOLOGY
Role Summary:
The appointed person will be responsible for building and executing best-in-class marketing and commercial strategies for a designated portfolio, as well as ensure successful launch of any future brand within the designated portfolio pipeline. The BL will be the key market expert with full understanding of the environment, competitors and customer needs to build the country strategic and tactical plans and revenue/ budget forecasting. Manage and be accountable of DME (direct marketing expenses) budget. Have a full understanding of the financial market dynamics in relation to the designated portfolio. Depending on the Org structure or designated portfolio the BL may have a team of sales colleagues. The BL is also leader and orchestrater of the internal XFT.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Key Dimensions
Steers the development and/or implementation of best-in-class customer strategies for the designated portfolio, in alignment with in- country business needs and regional/global strategies.
Drives best-in-class pre-launch/launch activities for any new indication or product in the designated portfolio.
Responsible for brand/portfolio growth and associated revenues by managing risks, identifying opportunities, and making timely decisions that maximize the business potential. Ensures timely updates to asset/market assumptions and maintains vigilance for any changing / marketplace dynamics.
Shares country needs and insights with the relevant regional/global teams as a key input to regionally developed strategies and activities. Involved in regional/global work streams and meetings as required.
Operational and Financial Performance
Accountable for the development and execution of the brand(s) operating plan, including the delivery of a robust country forecast, which is based on clearly defined assumptions (e.g. calculates product investment budgets, develops product forecasts, proposes resource allocation, customer value proposition, including stakeholder mapping, segmentation/targeting)
Accountable for the planning, spending, and controlling local DME for areas of responsibility. Demonstrate compliant use of financial systems and processes.
Allocates OPEX based on business potential and makes intelligent decisions using the best available ROI models. Leads cross-functional team decision making on deployment of DME. Maintains ownership of forecasting approach for operating plan and LE submissions.
Monitor and track performance and stock situations, identify areas of opportunity and risk and develop and execute correcting actions where needed.
Strategy, Innovation &Execution
Good knowledge of the designated therapeutic area under his/her responsibility.
Development and implementation of local strategic and tactical omnichannel plans based on customer/account insights, competitive and environmental analysis, aligned across key stakeholders.
Pursue market innovation opportunities which meet the needs of customers/accounts and supports business goals.
Build the omnichannel strategy and omnichannel mix by uncovering omnichannel insights along the patient & customer journey and identify the must win moments that represent where to focus to enhance the customer’s current and desired experience.
Define smart customer (behavior and experience driven) engagement goals as a cornerstone for the omnichannel execution and lead the process of content generation needed to reach the engagement goals.
Lead the development of promotional materials based on customer/account insights and customer/account needs, following the executional processes of the GLOCAL model.
Ensure high standards of Compliance to norms, policies, and procedures.
Drive KOL development and advocacy in accordance with Pfizer policies and maintain personal contact with key customers/KOLs.
Understand key environmental and customer issues in the market and ensure strategy reflects the insights gathered.

Basic Qualifications
Degree level qualification Master’s in economics, Pharmaceutics, Medicine, or other relevant
Minimum level of 3 years pharmaceutical experience in marketing and sales
Previous customer facing experience
Previous experience in the designated therapeutic area will be preferred
