JOBDESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY
- Accountable for thedelivery of the full P&L of single or multiple categories in the defined geography
- Leadsand coaches theMarketing, accounts, andsales team toimplement businessstrategies/tacticstoachieverevenuetargets
- Leads/collaborates with the marketing team
- Ensures that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and SOPs, Pfizer values, and global guidelines (including MAPP, FCPA), as appropriate.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setsstrategic long term vision forPfizer inthecategory; obtain stakeholderand leadershipbuy-in and colleague engagement
- Developsstrategiesunique to the needs of the categoryto maximizethe patient impact and the revenue for Pfizer
- Drivesexecution ofcampaigns,PoAs,tactics and customer plans
- Optimizestheprofitability of the category by making active trade-off and resource allocation decisions
- Leadsand coachesa high performing team and develop colleagues in line with the Pfizer competency models
- Reviews, designs and monitors the effectiveness of the Sales Team through KPIs
- Collaboration and partnership withstrategic partners in Pfizerto ensure services for thecategoryare met
- Ensures high standards of compliance to norms, policies, and procedures and instillsa proactive compliance risk management culture throughout his/her direct team and the x-functional organization
- Role modelsPfizervalues, TRUST culture elements withvisible and inspirational leadership focused on compliance and integrity
- A key member of the country or cluster leadership team contributing to the overall success of Pfizerin the country and/or cluster
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports to the Country Manager
- Leads the sales, accountmanagementand marketingteamsfor the category
- Works in close collaboration withlocal,RTALs, Medical Affairs, Commercial Team, Access & Value,Biopharma Ops,BAI, PGS and Financeteams as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Fluent written and spoken English, French and Arabic
- Bachelor degree required, Master’s Degreepreferred
- 10 yearsofdiversecommercial pharmaceutical experience
- Leading high performing teamsby winning in the right way
- P&L management and financial acumen
