What You Will Achieve
You will be a member of Pfizer’s dedicated and highly effective laboratory technical services team. You will be responsible for the creation, review, and verification of modification of master data specific to the Melbourne site for the gLIMS application as applicable.
Your methodological approach will help us ensure compliance of the gLIMS application, to company standards and government regulatory requirements. Your problem-solving ability will help us troubleshoot problems for the gLIMS application as they arise enabling for quick resolution. Your documentation skills will guide the creation, review, and verification of gLIMS master data documentation and associated reports.
As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute to ensuring the gLIMS application is suitably maintained to meet business requirements. Through your computer knowledge and commitment, you will contribute to a collaborative team environment with your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It
- Creates new Master Data objects of varying technical complexity
- Review and verify Master Data updates to existing Master Data objects
- Process Master Data updates for Change Controls, document updates and Core release functionality upgrades
- Aid in updating Master Data and corresponding departmental SOP’s and training materials as needed in accordance with global procedures and processes
- Participate in Laboratory System Release, User Council, Master Data Network and Lab of the Future Meetings
- Provide troubleshooting expertise and support for all Laboratory System activities and end users including instrument interfaces
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer or Science discipline)
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and working knowledge of Food and Drug Administration Regulations/Guidance,and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Excellent organizational skills, and ability to handle changing deadlines
- Strong communication with written and verbal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel for evaluation of data
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with either gLIMS or MODA applications
- Technical writing experience
- Pharmaceutical Industry with laboratory experience
