What You Will Achieve
This is a laboratory-based position within the Vaccine Research and Development – Analytical Development group where the individual will provide routine sample testing to support process development of early phase vaccine candidates. Assays include but are not limited to HPLC and UV-VIS.
How You Will Achieve It
Under supervision, perform routine sample testing in support of process development of early phase vaccine candidates. This includes preparing samples, setting up and running the instruments, and analyzing data.
Document experiments and analyze data obtained from sample testing contemporaneously in notebook as directed.
Plan daily workflow to complete the tasks/experiments outlined by the supervisor.
Contribute and participate in general laboratory maintenance activities (such as maintenance of equipment, managing laboratory waste).
Qualifications
Must-Have
BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline with 0-2 years of related laboratory work experience
Proficiency in the use of word processing, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant scientific software is desirable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Motivated and detail-oriented
Nice-to-Have
Working knowledge of analytical techniques used for the characterization of pharmaceutical substances and products
