Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
The Global Risk Specialist Level II (GRS) will assume primary responsibility for monitoring, assessing, and communicating risk and crises events with potential impacts to the company’s worldwide operations, business travelers, supply chain and senior leadership.
As a member of a 24x7 Pfizer Resilience Center (PRC), the GRS will be expected to work on a shift schedule including weekends, holidays, and non-business hours. This individual will leverage a variety of data sources to evaluate and synthesize information, prepare intelligence reports, and disseminate to audiences across the company.
During incidents, the GRS will collaborate with Global Security team members as well as other stakeholders to collect detailed and accurate information and provide this information in a concise manner to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure they are equipped with the necessary information to mitigate risk to the business.
This individual will be responsible for new hire and on-going training of PRC Specialists. This will include updating standard operating procedures, validation of personnel and maintenance of training logs, all PRC equipment and other tasks as assigned
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Primarily responsible for monitoring, assessing, and reporting on threats to the company’s worldwide operations by leveraging proprietary and open sources
Prepare accurate, succinct, and timely communications on issues that could impact site operations globally, business travelers, supply chains and other business units
Perform Crisis Management Duties by monitoring critical assets, initiating response actions and notification in the event of emergency situations.
Maintain ongoing awareness of Executive Leadership travel.
Prepare weekly threat assessments and other intelligence reports
Maintain proficiency of the Everbridge mass notification platform, travel tracker, mapping system and other PRC tools
Leverage social media research and analysis to support internal threat investigations
Triage and escalate telephone inquiries to appropriate parties within the company
Provide trip briefings to international travelers and escalate travel related incidents to regional security and other partners for follow up.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all activities, incidents, and communications during the shift.
Prepare and submit incident reports, shift summaries, and other required documentation to management.
Ensure that all reports are completed in a timely manner and meet organizational standards.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to watch officers and other team members.
Lead shift briefings and handovers with incoming shifts to include overseas satellite PRC
Participate in the development and improvement of SOPs, training programs, and operational guidelines.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Use of video management and access control systems to conduct incident reviews and other assigned tasks
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or 5+ years’ experience performing similar duties in military, law enforcement or corporate security in a Biopharmaceutical Organization
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communications skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Open-Source searches)
Exposure to data visualization and mapping platforms
Proficient with social media platforms including, but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook
Ability to monitor inquiries, quickly receive and assess the information, recall operational procedures, and initiate actions. Must be able to “think on their feet".

Prior intelligence analyst experience preferred. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Performing role in Biopharmaceutical organization, familiarity of processes in highly regulated industry
Prior Pfizer experience is preferred

On-call role
Outside of regular working hours to include: weekends/nights/holidays in support of emergencies and crisis events
