Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
O2C cash application team lead is responsible for running regional operations for the Order to Cash-cash application process which requires an excellent understanding of the functional processes, work independently with deep understanding of End to End process, provide constructive solution to business and internal stakeholders, fully understand the cash application process, and collection process, leverage the expertise to solve complex business scenario & challenges, consistently improve team members’ technical ability, analysis skill, issue resolution skill and take a lead role to execute on global initiatives.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- In charge of O2C End to End process, lead on deep understanding of cash application process and High Radius tool, and drive relevant initiatives for the responsible markets-AMER and LATAM markets.
- Proactively involve all global initiative projects eg re-design the way we work, delivery model alignment, proactively measure metrics, lead transformational and continuous improvement projects in the respective markets and process in line with project roadmap.
- Use technical and analytical abilities to ensure operational tasks with high quality & cost efficiency; Ensure team members have the appropriate skills, supporting tools and technologies to deliver best in class service.
- Implement appropriate oversight and measurement of activities through standard operational performance reporting to ensure agreed SLA’s are met and identified performance targets including internal and external benchmarks are achieved.
- Leverage digital strategy solution and High Radius Cloud tool, continually identify the CI opportunity among the team, build up measurable approach to quantify the improvement.
- Partner and actively contribute to building long-term engagements and relationships with GBS cash application tower in other regions & GBS O2C collection towers/AR accounting & compliance towers & business partners to accomplish objectives; Provide constructive solutions to business stakeholders and resolve the issue escalation.
- Lead, drive and execute the Finance & GBS New Value Proposition-Changing Lives Together strategy intent.
- Cultivate a culture of inclusivity and a one-team, global mindset across supported hubs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 8 years of accounting or finance experience required in a Corporate Finance or Shared Service environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred for accounting, finance.
- Good English communication skills both written and oral
- Proven capabilities with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint
- RPA/RDA, High Radius Tool is preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Capability of driving business process re-engineering & independently lead complex projects.
- Experience of working in an Order to Cash function desirable.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions based on investigation and judgement, further implement solution across organization.
- Exhibits thoughtful leadership with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams to build team consensus, develop effective relationships, resolve conflict, and influence others.
- Strong project management, change management, strategic imperative implementation skills.
- Experience in working with diverse, high-level, corporate, and divisional personnel, and exhibit energy & passion with the ability to get things done.
