Expanding Hope - Los Angeles Campus

A cornerstone of City of Hope’s plans to increase capacity to deliver care, the new Duarte Outpatient Center, Hope Plaza, is scheduled to open in February 2025. At eight stories and over 350,000 square feet, the facility will become the largest ambulatory care building on campus. The center will house state-of-the-art equipment, specialty clinics, new radiation oncology vaults, defined units to facilitate patient navigation, laboratory services and dedicated clinical trial infusion and monitoring. Enclosed walkways and bridges between buildings will offer safer and more comfortable space for travel, especially for those who are immunocompromised.

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist II to join our growing team! In this role, you will operate X-ray equipment, develop film, and prepare procedure rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications. You'll also assist physicians in radiologic examinations and provide patient services using imaging modalities. Your responsibilities will include maintaining essential documentation for patient tracking, billing, and film tracking. As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures of the breast, including mammography, image guide for biopsy, and image guide for localization.
  • Assist the radiologist, cardiologist, and/or clinician during radiologic procedures, including invasive and non-invasive studies.
  • Inform the patient of the procedure to be done and instructs the patient on participation required to produce an optimal exam. Transport unit to patient’s room when necessary.

Your qualifications should include:

  • High School or equivalent
  • 2+ years Diagnostic Radiology Technology
  • AMA approved school of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
  • Current CRT (R) (M) licenses
  • BLS

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $44.64 - $66.96 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
