Job Description
UW Stout's Salesforce Team is the data backbone of marketing, enrollment, and retention. The work is collaborative, challenging and results in connecting students to UW-Stout to achieve their educational and career goals. This position collaborates with various stakeholders/sponsors to prioritize, design, develop and launch Salesforce tools manage technology projects across the Enterprise Information Systems department.QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
BS/BA degree in computer science/engineering, information technology, or related field
Experience with software development and object-oriented programming
Demonstrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience
Demonstrated ability to manage projects, tasks, and resources
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through verbal and written communication to various stakeholders
Preferred Skills
Two years of demonstrated Salesforce CRM development experience and/or relevant certifications (Salesforce Platform Developer 1 or 2, UX/Strategy Designer, etc.)
Two years of project management and/or certification (Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), etc.)
Experience working with Oracle Campus Solutions, Workday, or other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Experience writing SQL queries, analyzing data, and utilizing report writing tools
Experience with related tools such as Form Assembly, Salesforce API development, Informatica, etc.
Experience with information security, compliance, and/or audit
Commitment to cultivating a work environment that embraces inclusion
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, maintain, and support Salesforce CRM applications and integrations for the University.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders.
Review solution architecture with project team throughout the design and development process.
Design and build Salesforce applications, proof-of-concepts, and prototypes.
Manage project schedules and resources.
Resolve issues and risks.
Document development progress and results.
Provides support and training to technical as well as the general user community.
Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain current knowledge of the Salesforce platform and related systems.
