Job Description
The System Administrator will maintain and support the IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of systems and networks. The role includes creating documentation, conducting training, providing post-implementation support, and collaborating on project teams. The administrator will also mentor and supervise staff and project teams, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to best practices.Duties and Responsibilities:
System and Hardware Maintenance
Installs, configures, and maintains data center hardware including servers, storage systems, and operating systems
Troubleshoots and resolves hardware issues to ensure optimal performance
User Account Maintenance
Manages user accounts and access permissions for systems
Provides support for account-related issues and ensures security protocols are followed
Documentation and Training
Creates detailed documentation for systems and processes
Develops and conducts training sessions for staff and end-users
Project Development and Implementation
Collaborates on project teams to develop and implement data center projects
Provides post-implementation support to ensure smooth operation
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, and network devices
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix)
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Knowledge of documentation and training development
Skill in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Ability to manage user accounts and ensure data security
Ability to work collaboratively on project teams

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate); and experience with system administration and IT infrastructure management is preferred.
