  • Deliver individualized comprehensive care to patients through rehabilitation department utilizing therapeutic use of self, innovative technology and collaboration among patients.

  • Responsible and accountable for providing, delegating and guiding patient care to achieve an optimum level of function for each patient through treatment, education and direction of progressive exercise and activity.

  • Consults with Physicians when necessary, about clarification of orders, adjustments to patient treatment plans, patient outcomes and recommendations for durable medical equipment

  • Responsible and accountable for providing leadership to the rest of the rehabilitation staff as demonstrated by coordinating, delegating and guiding patient care to achieve an optimum level of function for each patient through treatment and education.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Must have acute care experience or lymphedema certification (preferred)

  • Experience utilizing a team-oriented approach to treatment, basic age specific skills in evaluation techniques, neurological techniques, orthopedics and manual therapies and orthotic fabrication and training.

Education & Certifications/Licensure:

  • Must be a graduate from an AOTA approved school of Occupational therapy or a school approved by the World Congress of Occupational therapy and must have passed the national certification examination

  • Current Georgia state license in occupational therapy

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $36.72 - $60.47 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
