Job Description
Summary
This position is for an AP and CP board-certified pathologist to serve in a one of our service sites within greater Houston area. This position will mostly involve Anatomic Pathology with Clinical Pathology oversight of an associated clinical laboratory. A portion of the time will be devoted to Medical Director duties.
Job Duties
- Provides the highest quality patient care in a diagnostic setting with direct patient care impact.
- Serves as medical director for associated clinical laboratory.
- Provides all diagnostic support in accord with both the Department handbook and the BCM faculty handbook.
Minimum Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O Degree.
- Unrestricted Texas medical license or eligible for Texas medical licensure.
- Board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
- Experience in surgical pathology.
