We’re looking for an outstanding Engineering Program Manager with a solid track record of driving highly cross-functional projects dependent on innovative machine learning technologies. This role is critical in driving quality improvement for products impacting over 1 billion customers, and is crucial to crafting the highest quality user experience that Apple customers expect and love.
Description
- Build and run project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. Handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams

- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define human annotation requirements vital to launch and maintain premier Apple software products

- Work with data science and data engineering teams to develop data collection and foundation model evaluation solutions

- Work with annotation operation teams to optimize and lead human data collection and evaluation efforts.

- Work with engineering, privacy, and legal teams to develop safe data collection

- Work with research teams to develop long-term evaluation solutions
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in driving large scale program building machine learning powered products
  • Excellent program management skills including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently
  • Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (100+)
  • Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience
  • Capability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and influence
  • BS/MS in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
