Summary

We are seeking a part-time AI Research Engineer to support our medical imaging research projects utilizing deep learning techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and optimizing AWS pipelines for both research and deployment phases of our AI models. This part-time position ffers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in AI-driven medical imaging analysis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of various medical conditions through innovative deep learning techniques.

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain AWS pipelines for processing and analyzing medical imaging data.
  • Implement and optimize deep learning networks for medical image analysis tasks.
  • Collaborate with the research team to integrate clinical data and imaging features into predictive models.
  • Ensure efficient data management and processing for large medical imaging datasets.
  • Implement and maintain version control and documentation for all developed code and models.
  • Assist in the development of AI-augmented tools for clinical assessment.
  • Optimize deep learning models to achieve high performance in medical image segmentation and classification tasks.
  • Support the comparison of various predictive models for treatment response assessment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biological Science, or a related field.
  • Experience Required: Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degreein relevant field
  • Three years of experience in enterprise computing and SaaS deployment
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience with AWS services, particularly in maintaining pipelines for AI research and deployment
  • Familiarity with medical imaging formats and processing techniques
  • Knowledge of clinical assessment criteria in relevant medical specialties
  • Publication record in medical image analysis or related fields
