ROLE SUMMARY:

The HRD Franchise Head is a BU leadership position entrusted with full P&L responsibility for Franchise of Hematology/Rare Disease including pioneering and evolving business modules with the strong strategic thinking to assess a range of variables, including market trends and opportunities, competition, developing marketing & field force strategy and tactics, budget allocation and expense control, cultivating talents, strengthening team & culture, ensuring the operation excellence. The role will play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives, and truly change the paradigm of care in Hematology/Rare Disease franchise.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Obtain a thorough understanding of the key market dynamics for the franchise brands across the country
  • Build up ecosystem for patient through close collaboration with cross functional team and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the successful launch of new products in China market, and work with global teams and local cross function team continuously to accelerate the commercialization of new assesses by formulating clear and measurable launch strategy (including RA, access and pricing strategies), working closely with global & NPP
  • Deliver launch excellence of new products through rapid perception shaping
  • Develop long term strategic plan for the franchise as well as annual cycle brand marketing plan based on in-depth understanding of Hematology/Rare Disease market to unleash potential
  • Deliver sales performance according to target with effective investments management
  • Be responsible for the budget allocation and monitoring
  • Foster talent development and retention to build a strong team
  • Develop and manage key projects targeting KOLs and key stakeholders
  • Build up agile team to manage uncertainty in both internal and external environment and achieve our bold ambition
  • Develop performance tracking system and event quality control system
  • Team Management
  • Driving effective partnerships with support functions in a matrix organization, such as Medical, Market Access, C&K, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Development, Alliance, Finance, HR, Legal, etc., to ensure alignment around the goals and priorities set
  • Establishing, leading, motivating, and developing the team by instilling a culture of high performance, compliance, and patient centricity, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a commercial (incl. sales) management position.
  • BS/BA in Pharma, biochemistry, clinical medicine related major.
  • Experience in managing Hematology/Rare Disease franchise, or equivalent portfolios.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to adapt to internal client needs and expectations.
  • Demonstrated track record of producing outstanding results as a leader of teams and/or organizations with significant scale.
  • Ability to lead, develop, coach and engage high performing, diverse teams
  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment with good understanding of project management process.
  • Strong ability to innovate, collaborate and deliver results.
  • Compliance & Integrity.

Skills:

  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Established contacts and relationships with KOLs and channel partners.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurship mindset, accountability, agility, overcoming obstacles and focus on action.
