City of Hope Atlanta(Newnan, Georgia) is seeking an outstanding board-certified Surgical Oncologist who wishes to contribute and practice medicine in a patient-focused environment surrounded by a collaborative team that drives speed to care, quality and outcomes. 50 bed inpatient unit with ICU
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Foreign Equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience
Board Certified in General Surgery
Board Certified in Complex General Surgical Oncology or fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Demonstrated ability to function as a team player
Collegial and helpful with internal colleagues, referring physicians, and others
Articulate and engaging with patients, families, and other caregivers, using understandable language and compassion at all times
Confident yet humble manner that earns respect from patients and colleagues
Well-versed in the state of cancer care, including the latest standards of care, research, and innovations
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Clinical responsibilities to include outpatient and inpatient treatment with a focus on the care of patients with surgical malignancies
Provide optimal treatment outcomes with compassionate, patient-centered care

Salary range: $400,000 - $550,000 The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for specialty, experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.
