The Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology invites applications for a part-time temporary Instructor, Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to teach the fall 2024 semester. The successful applicant will have a master’s degree or an earned doctorate in Chemical Engineering or a related field by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will be required to teach core chemical engineering courses, laboratories or other courses as assigned. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited position. The position may continue semester-by-semester, dependent upon performance, department need, funding and student enrollment.

The Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) Department offers curriculum toward B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Approximately 150 students are enrolled in the CBE undergraduate program and 40 students in the CBE graduate programs.
