• Will perform a variety of technical treatment procedures including advanced therapy procedures.
• Assist with the Daily Technical Operations resulting in enhance communication by elevating potential concerns and providing general oversight to their assigned work area.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Will have a Bachelor’s degree.
• Is dedicated to superior customer service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Performs various radiation therapy procedures and treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist, equipment troubleshooting and machine warm ups.
• Participates with new hire orientation, training and development and acts as a positive leader and subject matter expert for both staff and students.
• Demonstrates the ALARA method in all aspects of treating a patient.
• Creates and sustains a service-oriented culture that promotes partnership and teamwork.

Credentials and Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered Radiation Therapist by the state of Florida required.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required.
• 3 years of progressive proven leadership and technical excellence working as a Staff Radiation Therapist.
• Complete knowledge of all treatment procedures.
• Current BLS required.
