The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis position manages the budget process and supports comprehensive finance & accounting transformation projects, from visioning and target operating model development through future state validation, deployment, and evolution. Reporting to the System Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the position will work with the senior finance and business teams to proactively establish and manage efficiency improvements in financial planning and decision support processes and leads the coordination and development of EPM templates and enhancements to support these processes (including project management leadership). Documents and supports operationalizing these processes and develops key metrics by which Finance system effectiveness and performance is measured. Proactively and independently formulate recommendations based on trend data.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Oversee and direct all matters pertaining to budget, forecasting, and management reporting for the City of Hope system.
- Oversee and direct annual operating and capital expenditures budgets, budget development and control, financial analysis, profit and loss, forecasting, financial statements monitoring income to expense ratios, and other complex financials.
- Establish budget methodologies, templates, and schedules to meet deadlines.
- Manage the annual budget calendar and coordinate consolidation for all business units within the COH System.
- Communicate budget process and requirements to staff; provide associated training as required.
- Facilitate the development of quarterly year-end-estimates (YEE).
- Maintain and enhance forecasting tools and capabilities.
- Lead efforts, partner, and/or collaborate with others to ensure maximum use of data and technology resulting in increased automation and access of information (reports, models, tools, projections, analytics, KPIs, data, analyses, etc.).
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
- 4+ years of related experience with at least 1 year of management or team lead experience.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $50.27 - $83.95 / hour
