The ELTD Project & Data Analyst position develops, coordinates, and assists with the creation and use of data analytics, implementation of initiatives, programs and projects that affect all areas of Organizational Effectiveness. This position will be aligned to key strategic projects to assist the ELTD Leaders and Consultants with project management providing data analytics, and reporting. The project analyst will assist in gathering best practice research and benchmarks that support given projects. The incumbent will also be responsible for communicating project status to all appropriate stakeholders and reporting on various success metrics to measure the success of the action items and decisions reached throughout the project management lifecycle.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Turn data into information, information into insight and insight into decisions focusing on improvement of employee and physician sentiment and experience.
  • Use Excel and other statistical tools to interpret surveys, focus group and related data sources. Data sources may include HRIS and Vendors from multiple HR/Vendor systems. Data will be analyzed using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports and insights.
  • Analyze output will be used to build analytics and story decks including actionable recommendations.
  • Be able to link disparate data sets to create a cohesive aligned story being told by the data.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects. Develops and executes project timelines in collaboration with ELTD team members and internal clients/partners.
  • Take an orderly and efficient approach to tasks, setting priorities and handling several situations at once. Monitors project plans to ensure tasks are on time and on budget.
  • Identify opportunities and take action to build relationships between one’s area and other areas, teams, departments, units or organizations to help achieve business outcomes.
  • Works with vendors (e.g. Press Ganey) to influence needed changes, request data and updates, and any other issues that may arise causing less than optimal functionality.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
  • 5 + years of experience in administrative & secretarial support at an Executive level. Possesses high level of administrative and secretarial skills & versatility in use of PCs and related office software.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.64 - $53.70 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
