The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Advanced Practicing Provider. Candidates should have an interest in academic medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. This position will be 100% clinical billable. Primary responsibilities include working collaboratively with Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility physicians and providing comprehensive care to patients.

Essential Functions
Primary responsibilities include working collaboratively with Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility physicians and providing comprehensive care to patients.
Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Collaborate with other providers and members of the health care team in delivery of care and make appropriate referrals when needed.
Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans.
Facilitate staff, patient, and family decision making using evidence-based practice
Participate in research and development projects for the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Participate in education of nurse practitioners, nurse practitioner students and medical students.
Perform history and physical examinations in the inpatient and outpatient setting; write progress notes and narrative discharge summaries
Order laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient
Prescribe necessary treatment and services for quality patient care.
Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Participate in basic science and clinical research projects conducted by supervising physician; prepare statistical reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Participate in teaching medical students and physician assistant students in techniques and procedures which are unique to specific clinical setting.

Minimum Requirements
For Nurse Practitioners:

Required Education

Master’s degree in nursing and graduation from an ANA approved Nurse Practitioner Program.
Required Trainings/Certifications

Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority.
Active Board Certification in appropriate nursing specialty.
Required Experience

Three (3) years nursing experience.
Additional related work experience may be required depending on specialty/sub-specialty.

Required Education

Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Required Trainings/Certifications

Active Ohio Physician Assistant license with prescriptive authority.
Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Required Experience

Minimum of one (1) year experience is required.
Additional related work experience may be required depending on specialty/sub-specialty.
