The Associate Project Manager will support the Dept. leadership in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in support of City of Hope’s operations. This is a highly visible role with significant areas of responsibility

As a successful candidate, you will:

Monitors the project management of strategic, operational, and tactical initiatives while supporting the service initiatives across all projects.

  • Ensures continuous focus on process improvement opportunities as well as projects under guidance.
  • Assists in creation and tracking of project plans, timelines, key outputs/metrics, and budgets.
  • Manages daily tasks associated with implementation of initiatives or project-related action items.
  • Establishes routine reporting and templates to be used across division in coordination with department members to ensure standard templates and department output.
  • Coordinates project trackers, monitors event spreadsheets and dashboards, schedule project and department team meetings, and create/disseminate agendas as well as meeting minutes/action items.
  • Project coordination and management assistance for departmental projects.
  • Supports and creates project documentation and standard work manuals. Responsible for reporting the operational performance of assigned programs department.
  • Monitors and assesses metrics on an ongoing as well as longitudinal basis.
  • Monitors plans to achieve specified targets in regional hubs as well as the community network support operations.
  • Routinely report on performance to division leadership while providing data and information to other department members for all-encompassing division assessment
  • Maintains the budget, timeline, dashboards, and project tracking through implementation per direction of Leadership.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelors in similar field (preferably, healthcare administration or public health); 4 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education.
  • 1 + year related experience.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.64 - $53.70 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
