Nurse Supervisor - Huntington Beach Outpatient Infusion Clinic

As the Nurse Supervisor at City of Hope's Upland Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of clinical services in the areas of Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Infusion. The role blends administrative duties with direct patient care, fostering excellence in patient care and adherence to City of Hope's high-quality standards.
- This is a Monday - Friday position, No Holiday/Weekends - 8am -5pm
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurse and Medical Assistants, including performance evaluations, competency validations, and training staff on new workflows to ensure consistent high-quality care.
- Policy and Procedure Adherence:Monitor and ensure clinical staff alignment with current policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with quality and safety measures.
- Scheduling and Time Management:Create staffing schedules, monitor time cards, and manage clinic throughput to optimize patient care and staff efficiency.
- EPIC In-Basket Management:Oversee and monitor the EPIC in-basket, ensuring timely responses and efficient communication within the clinical team.
- Resource Support:Serve as a resource for staff during busy periods, ensuring they have the support they need to provide exceptional care to patients.
- Meetings and Collaboration:Hold regular meetings with your staff to promote teamwork, attend operational and nursing meetings for the clinical network sites, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Minimum of three years of RN experience
- Previous supervisory or program coordination experience (preferred)
- ONS Chemo/Bio Certificate (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Current California Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- OCN certification (or to be obtained within 1 year of hire)

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $53.76 - $89.78 / hour
