Job Description
Ohio University Therapy Associates (OUTA) is seeking applicants for an Orthopedic Physical Therapist . OUTA has been providing physical therapy services and clinical education to the Southeastern Ohio area since 1984. Initially founded as a faculty-based practice, Therapy Associates clinicians now work in a variety of settings through their own clinics, as well as contracts with local facilities.
Incumbents will deliver physical therapy services at assigned facilities with an emphasis on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation including: documentation, participation in staff meetings, supervision of PTA and Aides, and other duties as necessary. Acute care coverage and occasional weekend coverage will be required.
This opening will report to the Director of Therapy Services at OhioHealth O’Bleness Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities will also include working with the faculty and students in the Division of Physical Therapy at Ohio University.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must currently be licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in physical therapy from an accredited university.
Dry Needling Level 1 course completion
Strong manual therapy skills
