Summary

The Department of Medicine - Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor to serve in the medical intensive care unit at Baylor St. Luke's Hospital in the Texas Medical Center locations and Infectious Diseases section at Ben Taub Hospital.

Job Duties

This position will provide staffing for our Critical Care units in Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and Ben Taub Hospital.

The Assistant Professor will report to Dr. Muhammad Siddique (Associate Professor) and Thomas Giordano (Professor).

Provider will have direct patient care responsibilities for patients in the critical care unit(s).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education required: M.D.
  • Required: Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine and ID.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and a track record of excellent clinical performance.
  • Scholarly enthusiasm
  • Provider will participate in quality care improvement initiatives.
