Summary

The Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and motivated surgical pathologist with subspecialty fellowship trained in one of following areas including breast, Head & Neck, GU or bone/soft tissue to join our team at Ben Taub Hospital, our teaching hospital located in the heart of the world's largest medical center (The Texas Medical Center in Houston). Additional training in other areas of anatomic pathology or clinical pathology are highly desired.

Job Duties

  • Subspecialty breast pathology sign-out.
  • Anatomic pathology service, including but not restricted surgical pathology and intraoperative frozen consultation.
  • Resident, fellow, and medical student teaching.
  • Administrative leadership opportunity, including directorship and peripheral clinics CLIA directorships.
  • Clinical and translational research opportunities available.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have strong diagnostic skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, will be expected to contribute to the educational, scholarly, and translational research activities of the department, and should be eligible for appointment at the Assistant Professor or higher rank.
