About the Position
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Practice and Global Affairs, manages the daily activities and provides project management oversight for the College of Nursing's Center for Nursing Practice (CNP) and Global Affairs. Providing for the initiation, development, and expansion of nurse-led care; international service; continuing education activities; education and research opportunities; and the Precious Prints Project.
Essential Duties:
· Management and oversight of the Center for Nursing Practice in collaboration with the Associate Dean
· Collaborate with the Budget office regarding income, expenses, and the formulation of conference budgets, project budgets, and practice budgets.
· Plan for financial sustainability of the Center through projects, continuing education, conferences and student travel.
· Plan, implement, advertise, and evaluate Conferences and Continuing Education Programs conducted for the Center and CON.
· Develop and maintain robust relationships for current and future global partnerships; e.g. Kenya, Malawi, Belize, Paloma (Spain), and others.
· Act as primary point of contact for questions by phone, email, and in-person about the programs (CNP, Nurse-led Care clinics, Global Initiatives, Precious Prints, Continuing Education and Conferences) under the purview of the Center for Nursing Practice and in consult with the selected faculty directors.
· Provide oversight and management of the Precious Prints Project and assist the faculty director of the Project.
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
· 2+ years' experience with program or project oversight
· 1+ years' experience in managing fiscal responsibilities
