What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a self-motivated and curious student to join the robust and busy Prime Contract & Export Control team. Programs that make up this team include:

  • Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
  • Prime Contract (PC) requirements (Directives, Mods, Clause updates, deliverables, MOUs)
  • Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI)
  • Import/Export Compliance

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Take on lead and support roles for various data assembly, analytics, and visualization requirements to support programmatic health tracking (metrics)
  • Assist in the development and coordination of programmatic requirements documents and records
  • Attend department, group, and division level meetings
  • Team across all Divisional functional areas to ensure deliverables progress on time and with maximum quality
  • Support in the day-to-day operational management of the program and personnel, including but not limited to, printing, office support, meeting support, etc.

Salary Range:

Our pay structure is based on earned credit hours, classification, and degree level. Your pay rate will be determined during the hire process and included in your offer package. Qualifications We Require:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

  • Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
  • U.S. citizenship

About Our Team:

The 11010 Team is comprised of 4 critical business units. Each unit is made up of proactive and integrated team members providing timely, consistent, and clear guidance to members of Sandia’s workforce at every level of the organization.

We build relationships with NNSA officials to support Sandia's responsibilities to the government as a Federally Funded research and Development Center (FFRDC) and oversee the government's compliance with contract provisions. These relationships enable Sandia's management and staff to effectively achieve their mission through a knowledgeable understanding and authoritative interpretation of contract provisions and requirements.

We steward the Laboratory Performance Management process to assure that Sandia's performance is represented consistently, timely, and accurately to government officials.

Security Clearance:

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Applicants for employment need to be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:

If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
