Under supervision of the Associate Director, the CRM administrator focuses on the management of admissions CRM including import of datasets, applications, forms and queries as well as long-term infrastructure for reports, fields, and rules. The role would be integral to CRM customization, development, cycle preparation, and training, to support the objectives of the university. They recommend Slate enhancements for processing/operations and implement new features. They may serve as a liaison with campus stakeholders and vendors. This role will serve as first-level support for CRM-related concerns raised by stakeholders. They will validate queries for internal and external stakeholders with consideration for data security, integrity, and protection.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and being a self-starter are critical for success. This role takes a hands-on approach to troubleshooting functional, process, and system issues and manage these through to resolution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, business, management, or a related discipline and three (3+) plus years of relevant business experience are required.
Job Specific Qualifications
Familiarity with Slate and Peoplesoft Preferred
Ability to work as an integral member within a team environment.
Strong communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and partner with various levels of management and staff.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Assists with system troubleshooting, system maintenance, and technical collaborations with colleagues in and outside of the Office of Admissions, including but not limited to Builds and maintains forms.
Works with appropriate campus personnel to resolve issues with data and individual student records as needed.
Serves as a liaison between the technical staff and end-user staff.
Provides training for Slate and other admissions-related technology.
Manages user access and adds new population groups as needed.
Develops and updates user roles and custom permissions for staff and faculty.
Acts as escalation point to communicate urgent and/or complex CRM issues to Slate team and manages user expectations.
Monitor and resolve daily error and warning notifications from the interface between the CRM (Slate) systems and the campus SIS (PeopleSoft).
Create and deliver end-user training/documentation and develop ongoing assessment to ensure consistent use of system tools.
Provide functional and technical support to CRM users with varying levels of technical skills.
Help manage consolidation of duplicate records in Slate.
Provide day-to-day administration and maintenance of two Slate instances, under the direction and coordination with the Associate Director Enrollment Services Technology and Director of Enrollment Management Processing. This includes but not limited to admission application development; managing user setup; customization of objects, fields, record types; building workflows; writing rules, populations, and queries; events, and building reports.
Test new functionality delivered by Slate as well as test regular updates and upgrades impacting feeds to SIS.
Assists with maintaining quality assurance and control, including inactivating unneeded prompts/fields/activities/interactions, managing annual cycle preparation, etc.
