General Information:

The IT Lab Operations Assistant provides computer lab and classroom endpoint device setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Responsible for routine and advanced setup, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of hardware and software for computer lab and technology classroom endpoint devices.



Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, and network issues in computer labs and classrooms.
• Assists with setup, configuration, and upgrade of computer lab facilities, hardware, and software.
• Assists with moving, setup, and configuration of equipment according to established procedures and deadlines.
• Completes tasks with speed, efficiency, accuracy, and great attention to detail.
• Prepares internal and end-user documentation. High-quality, accurate, and complete documentation is consistently written and maintained according to established departmental standards.
• Assists with hardware and software testing, installation, and upgrades.



Qualifications:

• Significant Knowledge of Windows and Apple computing environments.
• Ability to adapt to constant change.
• Ability to resolve technical problems.
• Ability to work with a variety of people (technical & non-technical) in a productive environment.
• Positive customer service-oriented attitude.
