Position Highlights:

·     Supervises the day to day processes of cash posting, and adjustments / refunds. Ensures that all cash is posted and reconciled to the bank deposits on a daily basis. Recruits, hires and supervises the accounts receivable staff.  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

• Preferred – Experience in a Supervisory Role.
• Preferred – Soarian Financials experience.  
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises the day to day functions of the Cash posting, Adjustments and Refund Dept. teams.
• Maintains Kronos for all AR department staff 
• Monitors staff quality and KPI's against established metrics.
• Tracks and reports on productivity 
• Ensures that transactions that effect patient account balances are recorded timely, accurately, and completely.  
• Ensures that all records of cash posting are balanced daily and monthly with the bank records.  
• Responsible to oversee or personally research, explain and resolve any variances related to cash and/or adjustment transactions.  

Credentials and Qualifications:

·     Associate degree required.

·     A minimum of three (3) years of physician/hospital cash posting, adjustments and refund experience required.

** In lieu of a degree, a minimum (5) years of supervisory experience with Accounts Receivable in a health care setting may be considered**
