Job Description
The Cosmological Physics and Advanced Computing (CPAC) group at Argonne invites applicants for a postdoctoral associate to conduct research on topics related to theory and modeling of large-scale structure cosmology. The applicant would work with Andrew Hearin on forward modeling the galaxy--halo connection in a broad scientific program related to DESI, LSST, and CMB-S4 cross-correlations.
Collaboration with other CPAC staff members is highly encouraged. Our postdocs additionally benefit from strong collaborations with cosmologists, applied mathematicians, computer scientists, and statisticians; they will also have access to world-leading supercomputing resources. The position has a flexible start date that could begin as soon as Fall 2024 and is renewable annually for up to three years.

Please note that a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or a related field is required, and must have been received within five years of the starting date.
