Governance Lead
Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
The Governance Lead manages the development and enforcement of frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of GWE and helps drive culture and colleague engagement through efficient communication, and engagement initiatives.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring governance frameworks to enhance transparency, minimize risks, and drive overall performance. Additionally, this role drives engagement and growth opportunities for colleagues. This role reports to the Business Performance and Operations Lead and plays a pivotal part in implementing governance strategies within GWE, aligning with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Pfizer’s strategic objectives.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Define governance structures and processes, including stakeholders, roles / responsibilities, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and escalation points
Establish interaction process and meeting cadences among key stakeholders
Define Key Performance Indicators mapped to overall corporate objectives, and manage the routine reporting of these metrics
Periodically review demonstrated performance vs. targetsand launch initiatives as needed to improve performance
Coordinate benchmarking activities with external partners
Lead and manage GWE communication and colleague engagement initiatives (e.g. Town Halls, colleague feedback sessions, etc)
Drive day-to-day operational support for GWE including enterprise priorities, key interactions, meetings, presentations, etc.
Lead and manage the talent performance management / colleague growth process within GWE, in alignment and coordination with PX processes and objectives
Facilitate the governance process, making sure consistent QBRs are conducted and documented in line with the objectives
Collaborate with the Data Insights Lead to align technology systems and solutions with governance structures, promoting efficiency and security
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Real Estate)
A minimum of five years of experience in business operations governance
Proven ability in managing planning and operational activities
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Policy & procedure development & implementation experience
Prior experience in a leadership or management role
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
Experience in cultural transformation related to governance and compliance
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Global Role - some flexibility with accommodating times zones may be required
OTHER DETAILS
Work Location Assignment:Must be able to work at assigned Pfizer site 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business.
