As a part of our Tomsich Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Institute family, you’ll join nearly 100 pathologists and over 1,500 other caregivers in performing the diagnostic and consultative services that are the foundation for our world-class care. Exceptional care is a team effort, and at Cleveland Clinic you’ll find there are many paths to creating a career centered on what matters most to you.

Our Laboratory team is looking for Phlebotomy Technicians to perform blood collections by venipuncture in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. This position also provides excellent customer service to various age ranges of patients and levels of acuity, and performs specimen processing of laboratory samples depending on location. Both Phlebotomists newer to healthcare looking for patient contact and the opportunity to provide a great patient experience, and tenured Phlebotomists that enjoy working with patients, should consider this position.

The ideal caregiver is comfortable multitasking, working in a fast-paced environment, can handle high volume requests, communicates well with others, is comfortable working as part of a team, and empathetic towards patients, visitors, and caregivers.

We offer opportunities for growth within our many locations that offer more experience, by moving caregivers into Outreach, or by becoming a Floating Phlebotomist. Career growth, leadership opportunities, providing world-class care to our patients, exceptional benefits, and working for an organization that has many long-term career paths are just a few reasons why this role would matter most to the right candidate.

This position will be every Sunday 14a-8a and 1p-5p four days during the week. 20 hours a week.

At Cleveland Clinic, we know what matters most. That's why we treat our caregivers as if they are our own family, and we are always creating ways to be there for you. Here, you'll find that we offer: resources to learn and grow, a fulfilling career for everyone, and comprehensive benefits that invest in your health, your physical and mental well-being and your future. When you join Cleveland Clinic, you'll be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare.
