Summary of Position
The Information and Strategic Project Specialist is part of the University of New Hampshire Center of Institutional Effectiveness for Educational Excellence. The Center promotes and supports research and data-informed strategic decisions in support of educational innovations and excellence. The Information and Strategic Project Specialist plays a pivotal role in leveraging data science expertise to evaluate, enhance, and drive strategies aimed at achieving educational excellence across the university. The Information and Strategic Project Specialist will utilize comprehensive data analysis and strategic insights to support senior leadership and the Center of Institutional Effectiveness for Educational Excellence in informed decision-making and innovation within the educational domain.

Other minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience (X years) in data analysis, statistical modeling, and proficiency in relevant tools such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
Strong understanding of educational frameworks and strategies in higher education institutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead data-driven initiatives and work collaboratively across diverse teams.
Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
