Job Description
Position Highlights:
The Virtual Health Instructional Technologist (VHIT) is responsible for identifying, developing, and writing clinician and patient facing educational content for Virtual Care solutions. This position will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning opportunities delivering content through multimedia and print androgogy solutions. The VHIT will build, deploy and maintain all digital documentation. Additionally, the role will act as a subject matter expert for marketing and communication teams.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrated proficiency to communicate knowledge effectively in a variety of digital and print formats for clinicians, patients and caregivers.
- Troubleshoot, assess technical challenges and develop instructional material for a variety of devices and users (clinician/ patient, computer/ mobile devices).
- Provide detailed educational material to ensure successful navigation of virtual health portfolio of services.
- Demonstrate confidence and technical understanding of systems and workflows.
- Proofreads and edits own work and work of others to improve quality, readability, consistency, and effectiveness of documentation.
Distributes content across omni-channels to support Virtual Care change management and communication plans.
- Maintains accurate and relevant educational content and support documentation
- Develop comprehensive communications for both internal and external engagement and meaningful connection to Virtual Care strategy.
- Manage and execute regular cadence of monthly, quarterly and annual communication and regular email communications.
- Support programmatic announcements and strategy rollouts to internal and external customers.
- Analyze the effectiveness of communication and develop recommendations to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of communications.
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design or other related fields. Must obtain Bachelor's degree within 1 year from date of hire or transferre or transfer.
- Two to five years experience developing interactive courseware, computer-based training, multimedia instruction and/ or web-based training.
- Demonstrated understanding and implementation of eLearning courses that are SCORM, Tin Can API, or AICC compliant.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills to communicate with business and technical users at all levels, internally and externally.
- 2 years experience in inbound and outbound content development

- 2 years experience with training development for technical skills and knowledge using performance based methodology.
- Ability to handle fast- paced demands from patients that may be experiencing high levels of stress.
- Ability to travel between Moffitt campuses and satellite offices.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of modern e-learning technologies (i.e., Articulate Storyline).
