Job Description

Summary

The Corradetti Lab in the Center for Precision Environmental Health is looking for a talented technician to join the team. The lab requires a technician who is self-motivated with existing research experience capable of independently preparing and organizing lab reagents, performing experiments, record keeping, and producing novel ideas.

Job Duties

  • Conducts cell culture research experiments.
  • Assists with the isolation and characterization of exosomes and other biologics.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • Performs complex procedures and follows established protocols required for specific research projects.
  • Prepares and organizes lab reagents.
  • Performs experiments, keeps record, and produces novel ideas.
  • Documents results of experiments and reports to principal investigators.
  • Tracks the inventory for reagents and ensure necessary supplies are stocked.
  • Keeps a detailed laboratory manual.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in quality management (QA/QC) is desirable.
