Job Description

Summary

The section of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is seeking a Research Technician I for Dr. Francesca Polverino's Lab. Research Technician is sought to support laboratory investigations and perform the routine elements of research work that requires the use of skills, technical and academic knowledge to follow established procedures and record results. The lab is seeking for a highly self-motivated individuals to provide research support, technical assistance, and lab organization.

Job Duties

  • Prepares and conducts laboratory research experiments.
  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes data.
  • Conducts literature search and summarizes information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
  • Documents results of experiments.
  • Selects, evaluates, and applies techniques used in routine research.
  • Orders laboratory supplies and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • No experience required.
