Job Description
Summary
A postdoctoral position is available in the Zong lab in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics. This position will focus on the development of mice models, single-cell sequencing, and the in vitro and ex vivo based experiments.
The researcher will have the opportunity to participate in various single-cell assay developments and apply the advanced assays including high-throughput single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and WGS into cancer research.
Job Duties
- Performs single-cell sequencing experiments to characterize tumor heterogeneity including tumor micro-environment and immune landscape in tumor initiation and development.
- Performs mechanistic characterization and verification using both in vitro and ex vivo models.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cancer biology and mouse models.
